Very unreliable. Made me worry about my athlete.

I bought the paid version. Not cheap at $6.99, but would have been worth it if the tracking actually updated in a timely way. I spent about an hour and a half worrying that my loved one was injured on the course because his marker didnt move on the map and his timing didnt update. It looked like he had stopped cold on the running course.
The info didnt update until several hours after he completed the race.
